RACGP Rural GP Summit 2020

26th February, Alice Springs

Welcome to the Rural GP Summit, coming all the way from Alice Springs! We’re excited to have you with us. We recommend you participate in the event via your desktop or laptop computer. Mobile devices are supported however the best experience will be via computer.

There will be two forms of participation during the event. Both require broadband internet and a modern computer/mobile device.

Please note: program times are in Darwin time (ACST).

Order of events

The live webcast enables you to see and hear the presenter and their presentation and ask questions via your keyboard which become part of a moderated Q&A forum. You won’t be able to see or hear anyone else – only the presenters. Your questions will go into a queue for moderation onsite by RACGP personnel. No software is required to view a live webcast or ask questions. You only need a browser.

To get started, click on the link below and then follow the prompts. You may need to install software to proceed…don’t worry, it’s perfectly safe.

When you click on the link, a new tab will open in your browser – connecting you to the venue. Note that the meeting won’t start until the facilitator is ready. You’ll be able to see and hear the facilitator and will be able to chat and ask questions via your keyboard using the CHAT button at the bottom of your screen.

Please ensure you’re not in a noisy location when you join the call. When you join, please enter your name so others know who you are. Note that your microphone will be muted when you join the call. To ask a question or make a comment, unmute your microphone. As a courtesy to everyone on the call, please mute your microphone if you’re not talking.
